TIP - Allergies Actionable: Blues Not?

People think a claim for personal injury must mean that something has hurt you or perhaps made you seriously ill, but it can also mean a lesser hurt, such as that caused by an allergic reaction. In a recent case, a health care worker successfully claimed against a health authority for the discomfort caused by an allergic reaction to the latex gloves they were forced to wear at work.

However, another case in which it was claimed that depression resulted from being turned down for promotion and was therefore a personal injury was not successful!
